Here’s a neat little post i found on www.InfidelGuy.com:
Posted by newtonian:
I found this freesite called ‘Christian Sexuality’ (link requires Freenet)
This is the first time I see a Christian using his religion to advocate sexual relationships between older men and underage girls. Not only that, but he also blames our godless society for making that look bad.
On the same page, he also advocates polygamy as well as keeping women subservient to men and out of church leadership.
For your convenience, I copied his text here:
Welcome to the first edition of the SC freesite. It is my goal, with this page, to debunk some of the lies that have been propagated by our generally God-less society and it’s “partner in crime” modern psuedo-Christianity. Wow, that’s a lot of venom for the first two sentences huh?…I’ll try to bring the tone up a bit further on….
1. Child love and under aged sex: Pedophilia is a pretty hot topic on Freenet, on both sides. The ubiquitous “go kill yourself pervert” attitude is generally no more correct than the “we’re going to Hell, might as well enjoy the ride” stance of many child love/pedophile freesite creators. The irony of the situation is that the Bible itself doesn’t set any particular age limits on marriage. Mainstream Christians generally take a firm stance against relationships with what they consider under aged girls. This is merely taking their own prejudice and putting it in the mouth of God. Oftentimes these same people willfully go against the direct commandments in the Scriptures with excuses along the lines of: “Well, that was written for a different time”. In truth, I doubt that there are more than 100 churches in America who make a true effort to follow Biblical commandments. But I’m getting ahead of myself…
The truth is this: When God designed people he didn’t make his intentions secret. The God-ordained age for a woman to have sex/children is puberty. If this were not the case the Bible would have some specific commandment stating otherwise. So if you are interested in younger girls stop worrying about God sending you to Hell. He wouldn’t have designed them the way he did if he intended for them not to get married till they turned 18 .
2. Monogamy and Polygamy: Another incorrect stance of modern Christianity, with a little more scripture to back it up (but not much) is that Polygamy (Being married to more than one wife) is sinful and that only Monogamy (Being married to one wife) is within God’s will. It is a fact that there is no Biblical commandment forbidding a man to take more than one wife. Proponents of Monogamy will generally dredge up scripture that is either misinterpreted or taken out of context. One of my favorite examples of this is the statement that the commandment “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife” indicates that there should only be one wife since it didn’t say “wives”. This is on the same level as saying that if the Bible said “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s car” it would mean that people shouldn’t have more than one car.
In fact, there are a number of benefits to Polygamous relationships:
·Depending on the individual’s sex drive, some men, although they love their wives, have a tendency to “look around”. Even if they wouldn’t actually cheat on their wives it generally damages them spiritually and sows the seeds for feelings of “I don’t have what I want at home”. Having more than one wife lets a man have more to look forward to at home.
·People who wish to raise their children out of mainstream society would definitely benefit from Polygamous relationships since responsibilities in the home could be balanced easier (i.e. one woman could handle the home schooling for the children while another would be freed up for other responsibilities, putting children in daycare when the mother needs to handle business in society becomes unnecessary, etc.).
·The World, although far from running out of people, is in desperate need of more Godly people. If a man follows God’s will and wishes to raise his Children in the same way, then the World could only benefit from his having as many children as is convenient. Often one woman can have many children but this will, frequently, damage her health and looks. Much of this can be overcome with proper nutrition and exercise; but in general it is better to have three wives with two children a piece than one with six.
·If a man takes as wives, girls who are considered under aged by society it can be good “cover” to have an older woman around to allay the suspicions of outsiders.
·Women really need to be able to socialize with other women, one might say they are even something of “pack animals” . If a man is interested in having under aged wives, more than one wife would allow them all to have social contact with other women who were in support of the husband and in his beliefs on acceptable ages and choice of women. Otherwise you would end up with one under aged wife who wouldn’t have any other women for companionship and social contact. Or worse, who would have contact with people who would not be accepting of her marital situation.
3. Feminism, Liberalism and Christianity. One of the worst things that could happen to Christianity has happened: Beliefs and customs of Feminism and Liberalism have been accepted into most churches in America (and probably a similar situation exists overseas). Instead of Men being considered the spiritual leaders in the Church and home they are put on the same level as women. Those who voice anything going against the tide of Feminism are labeled as “sexist”. The current situation in many Churches condones and collaborates with women who neglect their husbands and families to “follow the call of the Lord” and take inappropriate and un-biblical positions in the congregation and leadership. Often in these types of churches many of the women who so participate are secretly “man-haters” even though they would probably not recognize it as such. Women in these groups will, in many cases, feed off each others open or secret disdain or hate for men, exacerbating any problems that already exist at home.
Another popular belief in modern churches is that it is alright for a man to marry a woman who is divorced. Although the Old Testament allowed for this, all that was ended when Jesus stated: “and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.” (Luke 16:18, also: Matthew 5:32, Matthew 19:9). Now you would think that with all this biblical background most churches wouldn’t have any problem with this position. But the fact is that since the majority of members *want* these types of relationships to be ok within the Church they get their way. If they were just lax in following scripture it might not be so bad, but just ask them if it is alright for a man to marry a 12 year old girl…can you say hypocrite?
When it comes to marriage it is obvious that the Bible is pretty serious about barring marriage to a woman who has been married before. But what isn’t so obvious is that it isn’t merely talking about “marriage” but actually “virginity”. Without going into too much detail I’ll just say that it is not conducive to spiritual purity for a man to *ever* marry a woman who isn’t a virgin. This is another reason to be accepting of under aged marriage since it is much easier to find a virgin who is underage than one who is old enough to have been indoctrinated into society to the point that she would have had sex with other men and expect her husband to accept her situation.
I guess that this pretty much wraps up this first Edition of the SC freesite. If you have something you would like included in a future edition of this site, or if you just want to chat, the Frost board christiansex is the place to do it. Private messages can be sent to me with my GnuPG private key here.
God bless,
Ola Berst
Now this is an interesting take on something i’ve wondered for many years about the Christian (and Biblical) lifestyle. Why would Xians look down upon incest, for instance? Its all over the place in the Bible. If Gawd didn’t want it to happpen, why did he set things up in such a way that it was unavoidable?
I love how Xian’s themselves sometimes give the best arguements against their own beliefs. It’s a fitting reward for thier own circular logic.

on a less serious note, here is the funniest thread i have ever read on the WoW Forums:
My husband and I have disagreed on the ethics of the gold trade since day one. I believe it hurts the in-game economy and supports horrible sweatshops overseas, whereas he sees it as a wonderful resource! He’s wanted to buy gold for a long time, and we’ve had a few arguments about it. I told him that gold buyers could be banned, as has been said by CMs many times over, but of course he just laughed it off. In the end, he agreed he would not buy any gold because of the way I felt about it.
I was a little suspicious when his account got shut down two days ago. He said he must have been banned for flying around on a bugged windrider, and said he’d appeal it, but he didn’t seem to have the righteous indignation I’d expect from somebody who got “wrongfully” banned. I asked him point blank if he’d bought gold, and of course he denied it.
Well, imagine my surprise today when I look in his folder of “personal entertainment” files and find a copy of the order confirmation for 300 gold from a certain popular website.
So here’s a warning to you all who think you can buy gold and get away with it: you might get caught too.
And John, when you read this (and I know you will, since I know you don’t do any actual work), consider our marriage over. Your stuff will be on the front porch when you get home.

I just received this heart-wrenching e-mail from a (apparently) good friend of mine:
Zamil Mohamed
zamilmohamed_01@mail.vu
DEAREST,
My name is Zamil Mohamed, A Bahrain national I have
been diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer. It has defied
all forms of medical treatment, and right now I have
only about a few months to live, according to medical
experts. I have not particularly lived my life so
well, as I never really cared for anyone (not even
myself) but my business.
Though I am very rich, I was never generous, I was
always hostile to people and only focused on my
business as that was the only thing I cared for. But
now I regret all this as I now know that there is more
to life than just wanting to have or make all the
money in the world. I believe when God gives me a
second chance to come to this world I would live my
life a different way from how I have lived it. Now
that God has called me, I have willed and given most
of my property and assets to my immediate and extended
family members as well as a few close friends.
I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul so,
I have decided to give alms to charity organizations,
as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do
on earth. So far, I have distributed money to some
charity organizations in the U.A.E, Somalia and
Malaysia. Now that my health has deteriorated so
badly, I cannot do this myself anymore. I once asked
members of my family to close one of my accounts and
distribute the money which I have there to charity
organization in Bulgaria and Pakistan, they refused
and kept the money to themselves.
Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not
to be contended with what I have left for them. The
last of my money which no one knows of is the huge
cash deposit of Twenty Eight Million dollars ($28,
000, 000, 00) that I have with a finance House abroad.
I will want you to help me collect this deposit and
dispatch it to charity organizations.
N/B: KINDLY NOTE THAT 20% of this fund must go to the
tsunami victims and another 10% for your effort and
time. Please if you are willing only reply to my
private email address zmohamad@katamail.com
God be with you.
Zamil Mohamed.
oohh… so close, Zamil, ol’ buddy. Everyone knows that Bahrain nationals are immune to Oesophageal cancer!
Sorry, but your story just simply does not check out with such a glaring contradiction. If it weren’t for that frst, single lie, I would have believed everything else you would have had to say. Better luck next time, you magnicifent bastard!

Here’s a story of the mass majority that no one ever wants to hear (credit to SomethingAwful.com):
World Of Warcraft
Ryan Grover from Cleveland, Ohio played a moderate amount of World Of Warcraft this week. The 26 year old who moved out of his parents’ house at the age of 18 and has a steady job reportedly logged on when he was bored, played for no more than four hours in a single sitting, and was able to exit the game at a reasonable hour without incident.
His girlfriend, an actual real person with whom he enjoys a happy relationship and healthy love life, was actually surprised to hear the news.
“World of what?” replied Kimmy Banks with a puzzled smile when we asked her for details. “I guess that’s one of his computer games? He doesn’t really talk about them much, they’re not a big issue. No, he never bores me with the minutiae of how he obtained every rare item on his character or anything like that.”
As of the filing of this report, Ryan has not been part of any interesting tales involving the need to defecate without leaving the computer. His guild is considering the proper course of action to take, and concedes that expulsion is not out of the question.

That’s right, people. I’m back home and enjoying my official ‘Recovery Day’ after Anime Weekend Atlanta. A long weekend of pocky, sushi, teenage girls in skimpy costumes, bitchin’ cutlery, and.. get this.. Japanese cartoons. Now that two AWA’s have passed, perhaps i need to watch all those Naruto episodes that I’ve had for several months. Yeah, Omega, I know! I know!
I did buy a few things, however. I finally got a Kukri. I have had the character concept for a Kukri-Master for some time now, and my fascination with the odd blades had finally gotten the better of me. It’s a gorgious (and fully functional) blade, especially for $15!
In addition to the unnecessary bladed objects, i also bought two mousepads from Doug Smith. Dude… get a debit card machine… who uses cash in the 21st century, anyways?! The final bit of swag that i “had” to have was a Miskatonic University shirt. Pure awesome. I swear, if any girl that sees me wearing it knows what it is and what its all about, i might just have to marry her on the spot.
Most of the fun for me is just people watching. You get to see all kinds of great costumes… Like the Katamari Damacy team! And the Record of Lodoss cast! There were a few creepy-types hanging about, too… Like the Crazy 88′s and a Tonberry with a Black Mage. Of all the people for B33j to connect with it HAD to be the crazy Japanese bastards that are “Peelander-Z!“. Luckily, no one really made THAT much of an ass of themselves… even when given ample reason to.
Fortunately for you, i will not post the pics that are of people that had NO business wearing tight, skimpy, and/or revealing clothing. GAWD.. some of the people there were like bottomless pits.
I am always disappointed by the lack of classic Final Fantasy stuff at AWA. I know that it’s old-school, but i really love it.
The saddest thing for me is realizing that i am getting to odl to do this sort of thing. I’ll be 27 in October and i just don’t have the youthful vigor or enthusiasm that i once had for such frivolous things. Well… maybe for D&D. But, next year… DRAGON*CON!
But, lets not forget those who think that such things as D&D is evil and morally wrong. After all, religion has NEVER been an excuse to commit evil, now has it?
I mean, lets at least worship something that makes sense…

I think I have finally pinned down the difference between City of Heroes and World of WarCraft…
CoH is a fantastic game where you play as a comic book superhero; its fun, you get to beat up badguys with your friends and use your abilites in a tactical way. You can log in, do a few missions and log out. no biggie.
WoW is a damn world unto itself. You don’t just play game, its like a freaking second life. With all the places to go, people to meet and things to do, it’s just overwhelming. I EASILY find myself thinking about WoW more when i’m not playing it than with CoH. Wow has absolutely breathtaking scenery. I have been playing WoW since late-Beta and I am STILL impressed by the game. And Sagan knows I’m not the ONLY one… It seems that WoW has spread like a plague through the most vile of means. Plus, WoW has Pirates! Yar!
Although… with City of Villains coming out before long (and it’s gonna be damn good. I know), CoH will have Pirates, too!
With all these new fangled video games coming out that steal you life away, it almost makes one miss the good old days. Like having a nice, simple Nintendo. But, i suppose we all have to move on to bigger and better things.

“Emerald Dream is Full
Position in Queue: 126
Estimated Time: 21 min”
Hmf. might as well make a quick post on my website…
Nah… no one wants to hear about my new Alliance characters on the new RP-PvP Realm in World of Warcraft. Emerald Dream is kind of a pussy name anyways. I mean, really.. “Green Dream”? WTF? It has something to do with those tall-ass Night Elves, i bet. Stupid once-immortal druids. Hmm… although… their females have very handle-like ears. It’d be like riding a sexual motorcycle. Heh. or I could just grab those damn eyebrows. 10,000 years of magical history and they’ve never come up with Nair? or tweezers?
I can’t believe that i ACTUALLY got the name “Quinn”! How rad is THAT? ^_^
I wonder if anyone will join me on Emerald Dream… It sure would great to get some of the group back togther and kicks some Horde ass.
… Hmmm… hot Orc on Elf action. i bet i could Google that. heh. man, what would the KIDS look like? gah.
dammit, hurry up and LEAVE, people! I wanna play!

Gawd.. what a rough week this was. The worst part is, I have no excuse for it. It was a 4 day week (which is always a plus) and nothing particularly bad happened. I was just simply exhausted all week. Almost makes me wish I had someone to snuggle with.
Have you ever been in a discussion with someone, or even an argument, and have stated how you feel about something just to have the other person say, “That’s not the way you feel” ? O_o
I mean, really… is there ANY way better to completely invalidate and marginalize someone than to simply and catagorically deny their most basic statements? Whats the point of even talking to someone if you simply deny everything they say? What does that accomplish exactly?
It’s almost like talking to the psychotic zealots of the Taliban!
I like my women like I like my seafood…hot and battered.

Well, i roll into my office’s parking lot this morning to see everyone standing in groups out front and with Police squad cars strewn about.
“Doubleyoo Tee Eff?” I ask the first office maiden i see.
“We were broken into last night!”, she replies.
“Wow… really?”
“yeah, they busted in a window in conference room at the back of the building.”
“I guess they cleaned us out, huh?”
“nope… they just got a few computers. We guess something spooked ‘em before they could get away with much.”
Turns out that my desk would have been the first one they saw when entering the main part of the office. They bypassed my large CD rack, my MP3/CD player and my flat-panel monitor… to go to the FAR side of the room and take a few computer towers of the Program Managers; the ones with perhaps the most important data, but are older and not worth much. All the newest compys and flat panel monitors weren’t even touched. The crooks even took the Sys Admin’s keyboard and mouse… but not the $40 in cash laying under the keyboard. Weird.
It almost seems that certain people in the office were targeted. I can’t help but wonder if it was a disgruntled ex-employee. Frankly, i’m pissed that they didn’t even TOUCH my stuff… What? Its not GOOD enough for even CROOKS?? I really need to step up my efforts to piss off people!

I want very badly to believe that our country is the greatest on Earth… we have accomplished so much in our short, 229 year history…
Yet, when one of our own major cities is decimated by two natural disasters (hurricane and flood), people die in the streets from lack of support… FIVE FUCKING DAYS after the incident. YES, there is much confusion and little operating communication technology… Yes, there are people taking pot-shots at support helicopters… BUT we are in the most powerful, most advanced nation the world has ever known.. and we cannot take care of our own people? One day after the disaster… i can see the shock and confusion. BUT, there should have already been systems and plans in place to start the relief ball rolling. Two days after.. okay, things should be rolling by now… supplies coordinations and support plans should be nearing completion… But FIVE fucking days, and people are dying because of dehydration? people’s bodies are rotting in the streets? Bodies are slumped over in the wheelchairs that got them to ‘safety’?!
Anderson Cooper is a journalist for whom i have a new respect… and the number of politicians for whom i am embaressed by has grown a hundred-fold.
All day today at work, i defended the government. I assumed that they were capable and that they were doing everything humanly possible to help the human beings, their own countrymen and women, from the atrocities that we work so hard to abate in foreign countries. But, here we are… THOUSANDS of people in ‘secure’ areas, being raped. Being beaten. Dying of dehydration. People STILL on roofs. Still in attics. Bodies in the street. Reporters are able to see this. Why aren’t the leaders? Do they not read CNN?
Chaos at the convention center
Posted: 10:02 a.m. ET
CNN’s Jim Spellman in New Orleans, Louisiana
I don’t think I really have the vocabulary for this situation.
We just heard a couple of gunshots go off. There’s a building smoldering a block away. People are picking through whatever is left in the stores right now. They are walking the streets because they have nowhere else to go.
Right now, I’m a few blocks away from the New Orleans Convention Center area. We drove through there earlier, and it was unbelievable. Thousands and thousands and thousands of people spent the night sleeping on the street, on the sidewalk, on the median.
The convention center is a place that people were told to go to because it would be safe. In fact, it is a scene of anarchy.
There is absolutely nobody in control. There is no National Guard, no police, no information to be had.
The convention center is next to the Mississippi River. Many people who are sleeping there feel that a boat is going to come and get them. Or they think a bus is going to come. But no buses have come. No boats have come. They think water is going come. No water has come. And they have no food.
As we drove by, people screamed out to us — “Do you have water? Do you have food? Do you have any information for us?”
We had none of those.
Probably the most disturbing thing is that people at the convention center are starting to pass away and there is simply nothing to do with their bodies. There is nowhere to put them. There is no one who can do anything with them. This is making everybody very, very upset.
I defended our government, i did. But, five days out and this is still happening? Until i saw the video, heard the people, and saw what was going on and tried to comprehend what these citizens are going through, i did not understand it. Who am i kidding? Unless you’re THERE, NO ONE knows what its like to have your baby die in your arms for lack of drinking water. Drinking water that politicians are patting each other on the back for signing a bill to allow it to START to be sent to the people who desperately need it to survive another day… Its fairly common knowledge that humans cannot survive more than 3-5 days without water. These people’s time is up. They are dying because of inaction. I am disgraced to live in a country that would allow that to happen.
I understand that no one can stop a natural disaster such as a hurricane or flood. But we SHOULD goddamn be better able to help the people that survive it in a timely fashion. But, instead, we get THIS. …and THIS.
I wish I were a rich man. i would buy/rent the biggest helicopter i could find… get truckloads of water and basic foods as close to the New Orleans Convention Hall and SuperDome as i could and use the chopper to airlift the goods from the trucks to where they were needed. In addition, i’d hire a small army of armed mercs to fucking fire back and kill the looters who tried to stop me. On the return trips with the chopper, i’d load all the sick, elderly and young that i could and take them to the N.O. Louis Armstrong Airport (where there is a major field hospital).
Sounds like a stupid, simplistic plan, huh? So far, its more if a plan than I’ve heard from the Federal Emergancy Management Agency. Or the Department of Homeland Security. Or the government of Louisiana. Or the President. Any other elected official that is supposed to be a leader in exactly times like this.
I defended my government. I could not bring myself to accept the possibility that it is truly this inept. It scares the fuck out of me, to be honest. Is this really how we respond to a real tragedy? Have we learned nothing from 9/11? What the fuck is the Dept of Homeland Security good for.. if not the fucking SECURITY of OUR HOMELAND?
Now I know who I cannot rely on. I know now who NOT to trust with my safety, security and wellbeing.
You wanted a rant? you got a fucking rant.

I’m here in Mobile, AL. just got power. We were lucky, the house is still here, and we now have power. Many of my friends who evacuated here to stay with us no longer have homes. We’ve been out for the last two days helping neighbors clean up the mess.
I’ve been listening to the radio for news updates, so I know whats been going on, and now I can watch it on TV. First thing I wanted to check was Fark for a discussion thread.
I can’t believe you farking people biatching at the government for not responding fast enough. Un-Farking believable.
Do you guys realize how difficult it is to move that many people from a flood ravaged area? I’m amazed that they’ve been able to do what they have. 80% of the city is only accessible by boat or helicopter. Do you guys realize how big this city is?
A rescue helicopter might hold 6-8 victims max. A bus to take them to the Astro-dome holds what 50, maybe 60? We’re talking thousands of people being evacuated. Bus loads are starting to arrive in Mobile because we’re starting to get power at the shelters.
As to the arguement that the poor was left to die, I call bullshiat! I’m watching all these neighborhoods flooded, all the cars underwater. Am I to believe that none of these cars where operational before the hurricane? The order to leave went out way before the hurricane hit. These people didn’t believe that this situation would happen. They thought that they could ride it out. They thought that they were able to make it through Camile, so they would be ok for Katrina. I will grant the fact that yes, there are some that were not capable of leaving, such as the homeless. But a majority of these people could have left.
Quit your biatching and do something to help. That includes the sensationalist media.

It’s hard to believe how many people posting on here seem to have no idea or concept of the logistics of mounting this type and scope of operation. Unless you’ve done anything even remotely close to this, then STFU and GTBW. This is a monumentally difficult operation for ANY organization to undertake.
There is NO way that the government could have been ready with exactly what was/is needed and prepared to get it exactly where it is needed and at exactly the right time. That would have taken extraordinary fortune telling abilities that don’t exist. The storm was seen about a week out and the possibilty of it hitting New Orleans was seen a few days out. Nobody knew exactly where the storm would indeed hit (many storms historically have veered as they approach the coast and, in fact, Katrina veered some too from the original projections). If you tried to preplace assets someplace and then had the storm veer and hit your assets, they would have been destroyed. Best thing is to mobilize, get things packed, tell everyone to be ready, and then wait to see what you need and where it’s needed. That’s what they did. There is simply no way that they could have had tens of thousands of troops ready and waiting to go in the minute the storm stopped, and they didn’t know in advance that such troops would be needed. If the levees had held, then most of the problems we see today wouldn’t be happening. They couldn’t have known that in advance.
Now, on to the response. Trying to evac 20k+ people from the Superdome and 15k+ people from the Convention Center (plus however more people are scattered through the rest of the city) is a tremendous effort. The roads leading into the area are few and damaged. They were covered by trees after the storm (reports of survivors cutting trees themselves to escape the storm). There are bridges down, roads still underwater, etc. That makes getting ground assets into place a bit difficult. When you do get a bus in, it can only hold maybe 100 people. Do the math, that’s 350 buses at least. Where do you even get 350-400 buses on short notice? Once again, logistics. Those buses don’t appear out of thin air. You also need to put gas in the buses and find drivers, communications, food, escorts, directions, etc. (more logistics). If you are caravaning to Houston, you’ll need to manage driver sleep by getting even more drivers to allow for shifts (you’d really hate for a driver to fall asleep and run off the road with 100 New Orleans survivors, wouldn’t you?). Ok, now you have to actually get the buses into the area. It’s flooded and the roads are nearly impassable… You can’t drive buses through deep water. You have to find a route. If you try air evac, then it just gets worse. Even a giant Chinook can only carry maybe 45-60 people. We don’t even have enough in inventory to ferry the number of people left in NO in a week. If you strip every helicopter in the Southern U.S. and send them there, it will take a few days to get there and still not provide instant relief. You also, once again, need fuel and pilots to pull this off (logistics)…
To sum up, this is a monumental logistics problem that few people can even grasp unless you’ve ever done it. Let the experts work and don’t be too critical. No, they can’t think of everything. Yes, it seems to the outsider that it’s taking a looong time, but that’s because you’re on the outside and have no idea of how hard they are working to get the logistics figured out and things moving.
For reference, the U.S. military is probably the most efficient logistics agency in the world. It still took MONTHS for us to move the troops and equipment from the U.S. to Saudi prior to the war. How can you expect to move the people and equipment in HOURS to help New Orleans??? It just can’t happen, it’s not possible. That’s too many people, too much equipment, too much supplies, in too short of a time. It will all get there, but it will just take some time. That’s a terrible thing to tell the sick, dieing, and starving, but it’s reality. They are trying the best then can, don’t shoot the aid workers/rescuers/National Guard/etc. They are doing the absolute best then can in the worst of conditions as fast as they can humanly do it.
Now that the Rant has ended, the facts begin to settle in. This is a disaster. It cannot be helped. It is not stoppable or quickly remedied. People will die. People will suffer. The only thing we can do is the best that is possible.
From the Mayors mouth…
…but, Sagan help the next person i hear utter, “Oh, well thank Jesus/God/Allah/L. Ron Hubbard that my uncle/daughter/lawyer/gay sex slave survived the Hurricane/survived the Flood/evacuated/didn’t take that business trip to New Orleans! Its truly a miracle that they’re okay!Praise Jesus!”
If you believe in a deity, THEY did this. If anyone is to blame for natural distasters, it would be the invisible man who lives in the sky that you so revere!! If good fortune came your way, it was either LUCK, good planning, common sense, or a fucking coincidence! Not Santa Claus!
