Is Talisman a role playing game?

Anyway, I have been waiting for this game to get reprinted ever since I first played it at Collin's house, oh so long ago.  I think he had Second Edition.  Third Edition came and went.  I missed it, but supposedly it sucked.  So it seems Fourth Edition was released Oct 2007.  Went to buy it last night and it was sold out.  WTF!?!?!?  Not only that, the company that was printing them has given the rights to Talisman to another company.  So I contacted both companies and the first one said "yep, we are sold out and won't have any more, check with Company 2."  So I checked with Company 2 and they feel they are on track to put out another printing of the game in late Summer 2008.  So I think I am going to wait for that new printing.  There are a few Fourth Editions floating around on eBay, but maybe the new printing will fix some of the careless errors that they supposedly found in the Fourth Edition.

The electronic version for 360 and PS3 is still slated for April 2008, but chances are that since we haven't heard anything about it yet, we won't be seeing it any time soon.  And I bet the liceneses for Talisman moving from one company to another also had an affect on how the game is handled electronically as well (who gets the money, etc.).
