Speaking of Ds9, I watched an awesome epsisode last night that dealt with the Bajoran religious beliefs attacking a federation run science based school. The zealots even resorted to terrorisim. It was eerie how topical it was for being made back in 1992.

It always strikes me funny how anti-science luddites and terrorists use the very science and technology that they seem to loathe so much to carry out their nefarious plans.
At least the Amish practice what they preach: Nonviolence, no modern technology.
