to roast a 5lb pork butt...actually a shoulder, but it's called a butt? Butchers! Anyhow, I slathered it in kosher salt, chopped garlic and a little Dale's sauce. Threw it in an oven bag filled with carrots and vidalia onions. I'll let you know how it is in three hours.

Dale's sauce is the best meat marinade on the market. Always has been, always will be. Try soaking a hamburger or ribeye in that stuff. Oh my god.

I had NY Strips marinated in the stuff for 10 min for dinner the other night. Blew my F*ing mind.

My hands still smell like garlic. Y'all know any remedies for that? I know rubbing your hands on stainless steel will get rid of onion smell on hands.

Only 10 minutes worked? That must be some strong stuff. I normally marinate mine in Dale's for about a day then toss them on the grill. I have tried this on hamburgers, ribeyes, and chicken. You just can't beat it. And Wal-mart has started carrying this stuff, so it is super cheap and you can find it just about anywhere. Used to, you could only find this in the south. When I first moved up here, I had to go to a bunch of different stores before I found one that actually carried it. So good.
