I responded to the sushi rain post and I saw Cin's sig and it made think I was adopted.  See, my brother Lee is back in town from the desert for 15 day R&R...he's hanging out with my other brother Marc.  After hanging out with them for a few days, I think I was adopted.  I can't believe my brothers are that dumb.  And my dad too! I've heard nothing but baby jokes and Obama bashing and it makes me angry.  They blame Obama for the economy, the sad state of the war b/c he doesn't want to support the military and blah blah blah.  We spend 2 hours in a gun store where one of the owners talked about having to buy 6 guns in a year b/c Obama is in office and it's all gonna go to shit in a year....

I think I had died and went to redneck heaven (an intelligent person's hell) 

Don't get me wrong, I love my brothers, but I didn't think they were really that ignorant.  Maybe that's why I don't hang out with them and my dad...because they are ignorant as hell.  just...if you heard half the things they've said...you'd wanna go ahead and rip your brain stem out....

I support Obama simply because he is our president.  I voted for him because he gave a sense of hope.  Maybe he shouldn't have done the bail outs, maybe he shouldn't have bought a car company.  but to place all that on one person is pure ignorance...he didn't do the bail outs or bought GM by himself...there is a government that a majority supported him (or if things aren't going so good, a majority that didn't support him).  I feel bad for Obama because people think it's just him alone that gonna fuck up or make this country a better place and it's not that simple. 

Don't get me wrong, I've caught myself blaming Bush solely for the fucked up state this country is (as far as foreign perspective and our shitty economy). Bush did have a government that didn't reign in his ignorance and they should also be held accountable for this sorry mess.  Either way, I'm dumbfounded by the ignorance I face by my own family and people I see on the street.

I wish people would be quiet when they're out in public cuz their ignorance shows if they're not.

maybe I shouldn't be bringing up politics, it usually ends pretty sorely when opposing views are meeting...but I'm not really talking about politics...maybe just sheer ignorance on the part of people I know.  Sorry, I really just had to vent and if you guys had maybe some sort of advice for me to deal with this...cuz there were times I wanted to correct my brothers but it seemed futile because....anytime I have before it was met by a sheer wall of ignorance and there was no sense in 'reasoning' with them.  You can't argue with someone who thinks a fart is a valid response
