I have to support my Joe, even if it is bad.

Saw GI Joe this morning and for the most part, I liked it. Not bad. Not great. But not bad. They managed to make a very decent movie out of my favorite childhood toys, so I applaud them for that. Go see a matinee when you can. Here's hoping for a sequel. Cheers!

I would be very disappointed if there wasn't a sequel, while its not super deep or dark edgy political. At its heart its fun and while it doesn't draw directly from the comic or cartoon the movie is not ashamed of its own source material and equally important it doesn't turn its characters over the top comic relief (Looking at you Transformers 2).
Only one thing I would change about the movie but nothing going into because I don't want to spoil it.
The Baroness is hawt and I want her morphing sunglasses.

Quaid is willing to reprise Gen. Hawk with a stipulation.
The veteran actor does have one special request for Gen. Hawk in G.I. Joe 2. "I want to get out of the pit," says Quaid. "I want to ride a horse and shoot a gun. I want a horse with an accelerator suit."
