Motorola Droid

http://www.droiddoes.com   Basically, the Motorola Droid's advertising is a direct slap in the face to the iPhone.

..Also, I can't wait.  This beauty releases on Friday.

Re: Motorola Droid

It's an unprecedented move for Verizon to allow such a device on their network, they typically gimp them so much to keep them under 'control'. It's getting lots of positive reviews and I hope it's a good phone overall.

It sounds like Verizon's going to do their best to nickel and dime you though...if you want Exchange support, it'll cost an extra $15 per month.

Re: Motorola Droid

Not really an issue for me, but it does prove how far Verizon is willing to go to bilk people out of things they should get standard.

Good thing I can catch all my e-mail via web.. or home use, for that matter. I'm pretty sure I won't need to pay $15/mo to access gmail :p

Re: Motorola Droid

I may not be eligible for any sort of discount because of when I signed my contract.  I'm not exactly prepared to drop $500 on a phone just now..  Might have to hold off on the Droid until january, when I can justify it as a 'birthday expense' :p

Maybe not, but having push for email, contacts, and calendars is pretty nice.
