WoW addons

Since some of us lame fuckers play WoW, I was curious to what mods people use.  Personally I use:

Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) necessary for any type of instancing
Omen (to keep tabs on who I probably will need to heal next)
Altoholic (it keeps track of my inventory, my characters professions, gold and auctions and plus many other things, including equipment, so I do not have to alt hop as often)
Grid for an easier time healing and cleansing/decursing/dispelling
Gatherer to keep track of nodes for mining and herbalism
Bartender4 for my bars
and
minimap button frame so i can keep all my mods on one mod so they're not all over my minimap (yo dawg, i heard you liked mods, so i put your mods on this mod so you can mod your mods! *or however those yo dawg jokes go)

Re: WoW addons

I still play, but I don't use any mods at all.

Re: WoW addons

DBM
Omen
Grid
RatingBuster - to quickly and easily compare all stats of items that drop, so I can tell if it's an upgrade or not.
Dominos - Bar mod and spiritual successor to Bongos, which I used religiously.
Shadowed UnitFrames - Lightweight, no setup required.

Re: WoW addons

my list is pretty short...
i like:
Bartender (simple, clean customizable bars)
Omen (real-time threat meter... because im a tank)
Titanpanel (small, neat little bar at the top of the screen that can tell you useful info about your character. ammo, bag slots, framerate, damage to your equipment, etc)
Deadly Boss Mods, 'DBM' (tell you what to do in raids and dungeons, "dont stand in the fire!",  "warning, nasty spell coming up!")
RatingsBuster (simply shows you the stat comparison between an item you mouse over and the one you have equipped in that slot)
and.. the one im LEAST proud of... Carbonite Quest. (it has an awesome map feature!)

Re: WoW addons

Why are you least proud of Carbonite Quest?  That is one of my personal favorite add ons

Also tried Shadowed UnitFrames and I love it, there was some setup needed to get it the way I like it but still very nice and clean.  Kind of reminds of some Bulldog setups

Re: WoW addons

I don't use carbonite anymore...it was always a pain trying to run that raiding...i like the new quest/map features wow has now...it suits me better because it's simple and i know where most of the shit is from levels 1-75.

Re: WoW addons

Not really related to the topic but I didn't feel like this question needed it's own thread

Why did you guys decide to play Alliance?

Re: WoW addons

Yea but every seems focused on their Alliance toons.  While I'll still level my Paladin on SC I think I will be playing on my Horde toons.

Re: WoW addons

when i first played the game, it was with a boyfriend who bought it for me...he already had a 60 pally alliance side (when only alliance had pallies and horde had shamans) so I had to start with an alliance character....on a pvp server....(illidan is still full of a bunch of bitches.)

anyhoo...when I started playing again after i broke up with said boyfriend....Rj, Jon and David were playing alliance side...i have too many ally toons to even dream of going horde...plus, i could never get into the horde leveling areas, except for silvermoon.....i had a couple of 20s horde side and i wouldn't think of doing it again...unless i leveled all my alliance toons to 80 (85).....and got bored....FOR THE ALLIANCE!
