Why? Gamestop they have the best selection and you can get lots of games dirt cheap if you wait long enough. The same can't be said for any other store I can think of.

... prrrrrrobably? They've shown a video of pretty much the first level, and a few TF message board mods were invited to a private play session and they seemed to like it. I think it'll be decent. Probably not as good as the TF: Armada game, but close.

it was a bit... predictable. and silly.

i mean, it was cool they did the whole "You got the touch" thing.. but Shockwave?

GameStop has a good selection because they are the only one left that specializes.

They people that work there are retarded, the way trading works is pretty stupid overall. If Amazon could drop Cataclysm on my doorstop at midnight I'd never use the god fall store.

As for the commercial itself, it was a nice throwback, but yea... Shockwave seems solely to exist to confuse people. Soundwave/Shockwave?! Granted I'm not really a hardcore Transformers fan, but everything I've heard that involved Shockwave was pretty dull on his part.

The game looks like it could be good, it has a big enough hype cloud around.

Actually, Shockwave is actually a BADASS.

He's the 'rightful' heir to the Decepticon throne... StarScream is a bitch while Shockwave actually IS competent. and cunning. and evil.

plus, i totally had him when i was a kid. big_smile

The multiplayer demo is out on Xbox Live.

FANTSASTIC.

It's pretty, it controls well, and its FUN! I think that WFC just might be the TF game we've all been waiting for.

There are few minor hiccups though. The servers seem to have trouble keeping parties together, and putting the Transform button on the left stick results in many unintended transformations (to both positive and negative effect XD).

oh, and yeah, Shockwave is a total badass in all media EXCEPT the cartoon. He has (on numerous times) thoroughly beaten Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Skorpinok, and Galvatron. He's like Spock crossed with a Dalek.

So, in the game, Prime's truck mode has a special ability called Ram. It does just what you'd think. Upon getting the WFC Prime toy today I made an alarming discovery. He's ramming people to death with his junk. D:
