All,
I'll be starting up a fresh MineCraft Multiplayer world on Friday.
B33J and Darrin should be there, as well as Lauren and myself.
As soon as i set up the server, i'll send everyone the IP and login info.
SO... if you've wanted to play MineCraft, now is an excellent time to join in with some people you know!
if you have any questions or comments, please use this thread.

I shall be there to fill the world with floating landmasses

hey, that's fine by me.
i think the only 'rule' we'll have is to not build within visual range of others, if you wanna do something 'wacky'.
i'm thinking that we get the new map, explore it, make a map out of it (i'll upload it to one of those cool, real-time, GoogleMap-type sites) and then make some land claims...
i know that i like mountains to build castles on...

I'd like to build over/on water

Alrighty.. ive purchased the server and found a spawn area that i think will serve us well. I'll release the IP tomorrow when we're all ready.
Yes, i know that the timing conflicts with the SWTOR Weekend Beta... I intend on playing MC Friday night and SWTOR/MC for the rest of the weekend.

This is the online map viewer i'm thinking about using:
http://overviewer.readthedocs.org/en/latest/index.html
example: http://overviewer.org/example/#/-194/64/67/-1/normal
more examples.. some HUGE: https://github.com/overviewer/Minecraft … p-examples
setup and installation seems a bit intense. what i might do, instead, i just update the map manually to my Moloth webspace.

Moloth's SMP:
206.217.143.100:28465
the server is set up for 8 players, it has an upgrade of 1gig of RAM and is not publicly available.
I set the physical location to be in Atlanta... my lag is not beyond dealing with, but everyone else's should be pretty lag free.
