The Wiener's Circle...

So there is this gourmet hot dog place near my work that I have been wanting to try, but it is only open for like 2 and a half hours Mon - Fri.  Now that's kind of a bitch.  But today, the planets aligned and I got me a hot dog.  More like five hot dogs.  Here is what I tried:

Turf and Surf (two items, a hot dog anyway you want it and a fish fillet in a hot dog bun)
Tubin (a hot dog with corn beef, swiss, sauerkraut, and 1000 island)
Chili Mac Dog (a hot dog topped with chili and deep fried mac and cheese bites)
Baltimore (a hot dog with fried bologna on top covered in melted cheese)

These were all pretty damn good, so kudos to The Wiener's Circle.  It is a complete hole in the wall, but you can't always judge a book by its cover (Ray's the Steaks).  And they are actually a catering company, that just happens to sell hot dogs on the side.  They also have this condiment bar with all kinds of homemade pickles and relishes, including my favorite, hot mustard sauce (a combination of honey dijon, horseradish, ketchup, and some secret herbs and spices).  So good.

Those all sound... awful. o_o; The only meat that should be on top of hot dogs is chili.

Re: The Wiener's Circle...

Tubin sounds delicious and I'd definitely have to try the Chili Mac.
