Enjoying these clips of the Audi Quattro Sport S1, the car that dominated rally racing in the 80s, thanks to its breakthrough all wheel drive system.

The inline five cylinder turbocharged engine puts out over 500 bhp, and the sound is just unreal. I love the way it cuts through the turns.



Audi adapted the Quattro's AWD to its street cars. To commemorate the success of the rally car, they badged it quattro (lowercase q).



Fun stuff and just one more reason why NASCAR is so shitty.
