Astrobiology announcement from NASA. Speculate!

WASHINGTON -- NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe.

Apparently, it was done in a lab in cali. It still has huge implications for the search for alien life, though.

Even aside from expanding where we can look for Alien life, it already means that every biology textbook on earth is suddenly wrong.
