Ok, this isn't so much a request for help, it's just some serious WTF-ery I've seen.
So, there's this one computer at our other chapel. It's about 4 years old, and running on Windows XP. We've used Paint Shop Pro X on it for years to do all of our photo editing down there. But there was always this weird quirk about how it opened files.
Basically, the quirk goes down like this:
1) In Windows Explorer, double click on Someimage.JPG to open the file in PSP.
2) Work the photo or whatever and then close the photo, but leave PSP running.
3) Go back to Windows Explorer and double-click on a Anotherpic.JPG.
4) Anotherpic.JPG opens in the already running PSP. A second or two passes, and PSP re-opens Someimage.jpg!
This happened every single time. Paint Shop Pro would always automatically re-open the first image opened along with the image you told it to open. It would not do it if you told PSP to open a file from the Menu bar.
I've installed PSPX on half a dozen machines at both chapels and at home, and all of them are using the exact same version of the software with the default configuration. This is the ONLY machine that this happens on.
Ok, now here's where it gets super-weird.
A few weeks ago, we replaced that one computer with a brand new machine running Windows 7. I go about re-installing all our software into it and finally get to re-installing Paint Shop Pro X.
AND THE SAME GODDAMN THING HAPPENS ON THE NEW MACHINE TOO.
I... I'm at a loss for an explanation other than the room itself has a voodoo curse on it that causes this glitch to happen to ANY machine brought into it.
