LOL, yeah, seriously.  Total WTF moment for the day.  I'm sitting at my desk and I hear this loud noise go from one end of the building to the other.  Sounds like the air conditioner kicking on (expanding of the metal ducks in our ceiling).  That is pretty normal, aside from the fact that it isn't too hot outside.  Then the building starts to wobble.  Like jello.  I was like, um, WTF.  I grabbed a couple things off my desk and got the fuck out of there.  We all stood outside for a while then left to go work from home since there was no one immediately available to inspect and clear the building of any structural damage.  Apartment is fine.  A couple of things out of place, but nothing major.


Without condoning... or condemning. I understand.

My Mom's entire family lives in Manassas Park, thankfully no one seems to be injured but I worry about my Grandmothers Salt and Pepper shaker collection.

Cousin was driving to the epicenter and didn't feel a thing.  great suspension on an old jeep I suspect.
